My problem is that …
My problem is that my car Mercury Cougar V6 2000 with 125k miles would start right away if I wait about 1hr15mins after a 5 or 10mile drive when the engine is hot/warm.
But if I try to do the same thing where my wait time is about 35mins to 1hr it would take a lot of attempts to start it.
When this happens this is what I do:
1: I prime it for about 4 to 5 times with 4 secs gap after each turn of the key.If that does not work then I try
2:Jack the car up from either side and then it starts up
